A mesos de les properes eleccions, la ciutat assisteix a un despertar col\u00b7lectiu de sectors que, durant d\u00e8cades, han sostingut el teixit social des de la periferia i els barris, lluny dels focs de les grans institucions. Les <strong>\u2018Jornades de Treball de Cultura de Base i Comunit\u00e0ria\u2019<\/strong>, celebrades al <strong>Centre Cultural La Model<\/strong>, no han estat nom\u00e9s una reuni\u00f3 de coordinaci\u00f3, sin\u00f3 un acte de resist\u00e8ncia pol\u00edtica. Decenes de col\u00b7lectius, des d\u2019espais del soterrani i la contracultura fins a cooperatives d\u2019economia solid\u00e0ria i equipaments de gesti\u00f3 comunit\u00e0ria, s\u2019han unit per denunciar un model de ciutat que, segons el seu diagn\u00f2stic, est\u00e0 prioritzant el negoci urban\u00edstic i el turisme per sobre de la vida cultural aut\u00e8ntica.<\/p><\/p><p><p>Aquest encounter reflecteix una tensi\u00f3 creixent entre una visi\u00f3 de la cultura com a producte de consum i una visi\u00f3 com a dret ciutad\u00e0 i din\u00e0mica quotidiana. Els participants alerten que la p\u00e8rdua de nous espais i la pressi\u00f3 del mercat immobiliari estan erosionant la capacitat de la ciutat per generar cultura org\u00e0nica. En un context on la gentrificaci\u00f3 expulsa els ve\u00efns i els projectes autogestionats, la cultura de base es presenta com l\u2019\u00faltima barrera contra una \u00abl\u00f2gica extractivista\u00bb que transforma el territori en un escenari per a visitants, oblidant els creadors que sostenen la identitat dels barris. La urg\u00e8ncia \u00e9s m\u00e0xima: sense aquest teixit, la ciutat corre el risc de convertir-se en una carcassa buida de sentit comunitari.<\/p><\/p><p><h3>El tercer model: L\u2019invisible pilar de la cultura barcelonesa<\/h3><\/p><p><p>El diagn\u00f2stic presentat per <strong>Diego Salazar<\/strong>, soci fundador de la cooperativa <strong>Connectats<\/strong> i impulsor del projecte <strong>Fes! Cultura<\/strong>, \u00e9s contundent. Actualment, la gesti\u00f3 cultural de la ciutat es divideix en dues vies reconegudes: el model privat (orientat al benefici econ\u00f2mic) i el model institucional (orientat al servei administratiu). No obstant aix\u00f2, existeix un <strong>tercer model<\/strong>, la cultura de base i comunit\u00e0ria, que careix totalment de reconeixement pol\u00edtic i medi\u00e0tic, malgrat que \u00e9s on orbiten centenars de projectes essencials per a la cohesi\u00f3 social.<\/p><\/p><p><p>A difer\u00e8ncia dels models predominants, la cultura de base no ent\u00e9n l\u2019art ni la creaci\u00f3 com un producte per vendre ni com un servei que l\u2019administraci\u00f3 \u00abofereix\u00bb al ciutad\u00e0. Al contrari, es defineix com a din\u00e0miques quotidianes disseminades pels barris, on els habitants no s\u00f3n simples consumidors, sin\u00f3 <strong>participants actius<\/strong>. Per a Salazar i els seus col\u00b7legues, \u00e9s urgent canviar el marc cultural de la ciutat, basant-se en la premissa que <strong>\u00absense cultura de base no hi ha cultura de ciutat\u00bb<\/strong>. Aquesta visi\u00f3 impulsa la necessitat de recon\u00e8ixer aquests espais no com a \u00abhobbies\u00bb, sin\u00f3 com a infraestructures socials vitals.<\/p><\/p><p><h3>Una unitat estrat\u00e8gica: La connexi\u00f3 amb les lluites urbanes<\/h3><\/p><p><p>Un dels aspectes m\u00e9s destacats de les jornades a <strong>La Model<\/strong> ha estat el canvi d\u2019estrat\u00e8gia. Si anteriorment la cultura de base actuava com un gremi amb demandes sectorials espec\u00edfiques, ara s\u2019ha plantejat la necessitat urgent de connectar-se amb altres lluites socials. Aquesta transversalitat s\u2019ha materialitzat amb la participaci\u00f3 de portavoces del moviment <strong>Regularitzaci\u00f3 Ja!<\/strong>, el col\u00b7lectiu <strong>No a l\u2019Ampliaci\u00f3 del Macba<\/strong>, la <strong>Plataforma de Gesti\u00f3 Ciutadana<\/strong> (que coordina uns <strong>80 projectes<\/strong>) i <strong>Cultura Coop<\/strong>, que agrupa <strong>120 cooperatives culturals<\/strong> a Catalunya.<\/p><\/p><p><p>Aquesta uni\u00f3 estrat\u00e8gica busca impugnar un model de ciutat que no cuida les formes de producci\u00f3 comunit\u00e0ria. La lluita ja no \u00e9s nom\u00e9s per obtenir subvencions, sin\u00f3 per defensar el dret a l\u2019exist\u00e8ncia en un entorn hostil. En aquest sentit, el debat s\u2019ha ampliat per incloure la figura de docents, bibliotecaris i espais okupats, entenent que tots formen part d\u2019un mateix sistema de suport a la vida dels barris. Aquesta din\u00e0mica recorda com, en altres \u00e0mbits, la prioritat del negoci acaba per desplacar la funci\u00f3 social, similar a com es critica en alguns esdeveniments globals on <a href=\"https:\/\/diarimataro.com\/en\/esports\/un-mundial-on-el-negoci-es-la-prioritat-lesport-lultima-i-lexclusio-es-la-norma\/\">el negoci \u00e9s la prioritat i l\u2019exclusi\u00f3 \u00e9s la norma<\/a>, sacrificant l\u2019ess\u00e8ncia de l\u2019esport per l\u2019estatus econ\u00f2mic.<\/p><\/p><p><h3>La desproporci\u00f3 pressupost\u00e0ria: Cifres que revelen prioritats<\/h3><\/p><p><p>Les dades presentades durant el trocanada s\u00f3n reveladores i deixen al descobert la bretxa entre la inversi\u00f3 en \u00abgrans monuments\u00bb i el suport al teixit local. Les inversions p\u00fabliques s\u2019han concentrat en projectes de gran escala: <strong>112 milions d\u2019euros<\/strong> destinats a l\u2019ampliaci\u00f3 del <strong>MNAC<\/strong>, <strong>16 milions<\/strong> per a l\u2019ampliaci\u00f3 del <strong>Macba<\/strong>, <strong>70 milions<\/strong> per a la nova seu del <strong>Liceu<\/strong> al Port Vell i <strong>11 milions<\/strong> per al nou teatre i escola d\u2019arts esc\u00e8niques <strong>G\u00e8nesis<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p><p><p>In contrast to these millionaire figures, the city council allocates only <strong>15 million euros<\/strong> to the entire grassroots cultural fabric of Barcelona. This disproportion is not seen as a miscalculation, but as a conscious political decision. The collectives denounce that while pharaonic works are financed that attract tourism and promote the real estate business, the artists and entities that sustain culture from the territory are relegated to ostracism. This unequal investment accentuates gentrification and neighbor displacement, turning culture into an instrument of urban marketing instead of a tool for social transformation.<\/p><\/p><p><h3>The risk of ostracism and the extractivist logic<\/h3><\/p><p><p>Grassroots culture is currently in a position of extreme vulnerability. The \u00abneoliberal logic\u00bb mentioned by the attendees translates into an extractivist vision: culture is valued only when it generates direct economic return or an international image. This model ignores that community culture is what really sustains the life of neighborhoods, creating support networks and identity that cannot be quantified in a balance sheet of profits.<\/p><\/p><p><p>The loss of dozens of spaces in recent years is tangible proof of this trend. Real estate pressure and the lack of institutional protection have caused many projects to close or have had to migrate, fragmenting the social fabric. The battle presented one year before the elections is not only for the survival of a few centers, but to decide whether Barcelona wants to be a city of museums for tourists or a city of living culture for its citizens.<\/p><\/p><p><h3>Editorial Reflection: The future of urban identity<\/h3><\/p><p><p>The conflict exposed at the La Model conferences is not a simple budgetary disagreement; it is a struggle for the soul of Barcelona. Grassroots culture is the city's oxygen; it is where new ideas are conceived, where dissent takes refuge, and where neighborhood bonds are woven that prevent social disintegration. If the current model persists, Barcelona risks becoming a \u00abcultural theme park\u00bb, where large institutions act as museums of a culture that no longer breathes on the street.<\/p><\/p><p><p>The disproportion between the millions allocated to the Liceu or the MNAC and the scarce resources for the community fabric reveals an elitist vision of culture. The future of the city depends on the administration's ability to understand that culture is not a luxury, but a right. If the \u00abthird model\u00bb is not recognized and protected, the city will lose its capacity for organic regeneration. Grassroots culture does not ask for charity, but for political recognition that guarantees its sustainability.
